O.C.R.O. receives a report of a Taniwha sighting in Lake Taupo
a woman claimed that when she was out at Lake Taupo in New Zealand. she had an encounter with the Maori Legend the Taniwha. she said that as she was looking out on the Lake the one furthest to her went quickly back under the water. and the one closest she described it to have black skin and at one point to have humps coming out of the water like the Lochness Monster.
according to Maori Legend usually if someone were to encounter a Taniwha they would turn into a Taniwha after they die. and also according to Maori Legend the Taniwha is more spirit form then blood and flesh.
